This is merely a reference post without much comment. I've been hunting for the meanings of the letters and numbers in the correspondence about the concentration camps for some time and could finally locate them in the Arolsen Archives, reference 1883000 (starting with the document 82331638). So, if, for example, you see something like "14 k 4" and wonder what category that is, you can look it up in the list and see that "k" means "correspondence in special cases" and "4" means "other agencies".
