Scholars denounce Holocaust book

Fifty-five Holocaust scholars denounced a new book that calls criticism of President Roosevelt’s response to the Holocaust anti-American.

The petition, organized by the David S. Wyman Institute for Holocaust Studies, criticizes Robert Rosen’s “Saving the Jews: Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Holocaust,” for “impugning the patriotism of scholars.”

The petition also accuses Rosen of plagiarizing material from other works, a charge Rosen denies.
