And yet, little is done because this is a gravy train of cheap labor for employers.

It seems we deport when convenient for certain interest-groups, doesn't it?

I guess Revisionists fleeing Thoughtcrimes laws need to go to more ten-thousand-dollar-a-plate fundraisers to lobby their interests better.

Already human rights watch groups are giving EU countries with Thoughtcrimes laws bad marks, along with the USA for executing Blacks. But I guess it is just a matter of public relations, after all. The squeaky wheels get the grease.

As Xcalibur says, it is hard to get worked up over a handful of Revisionists deported and jailed for Thoughtcrime. But vigilance against Thoughtcrime vouchsafes the very legitimacy of certain European governments, after all, so it shouldn't be dismissed too lightly.Scott Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05436465009501603412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24597325.post-1146063548696736862006-04-26T15:59:00.000+01:002006-04-26T15:59:00.000+01:00Deportation of illegal immigrants is normally to c...Deportation of illegal immigrants is normally to country of origin, as far as I am aware.

The above post isn't, by the way, a defense of German law, simply a clarification of why Rudolf's asylum claim hadn't got a leg to stand on, and was rightly dismissed. He should have opted for another means of legal residence; or another country.

Re-reading the legal papers I also noticed that he was already being sought after for overstaying his visa *before* he made his asylum claim. This weakens the claim considerably; in British law, it would be grounds for dismissal out of hand.

If I as an EU citizen overstayed my visa in the US, I'd expect neither mercy nor asylum from INS.

The rest will be discussed in a shortly forthcoming post, as promised.Nicholas Terryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14852758011968360596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24597325.post-1146062743192957022006-04-26T15:45:00.000+01:002006-04-26T15:45:00.000+01:00Does the U.S. routinely deport people to countries...Does the U.S. routinely deport people to countries that want to "get" them or can they go anywhere they want? Unless extradited, Zündel and Rudolf should have been allowed to go to some other country, like Mexico, perhaps.

Defending American collaboration in European and Canadian Thoughtcrimes proceedings is no more defensible than defending the Thoughtcrimes laws themselves as anything but totalitarian-liberalism.

Lipstadt says that these laws are "understandable" given recent European history. But in reality, the only thing understandable about this is that these newfangled Democracies are dedicated to Stalinist or Fascist principles whenever it suits their purposes. This must necessarily be Kosher when certain interest-groups say it is, I guess.Scott Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05436465009501603412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24597325.post-1145775070524392712006-04-23T07:51:00.000+01:002006-04-23T07:51:00.000+01:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Scott Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05436465009501603412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24597325.post-1145745046588520752006-04-22T23:30:00.000+01:002006-04-22T23:30:00.000+01:00Winkler accumulated a range of typical features a ...Winkler accumulated a range of typical features a lot of deniers have:

1. was in Germany when WWII ended
2. anti-semite
3. fond of wild conspiracy theories
4. anti-ZionistBHChhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08178467606233596591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24597325.post-1145741197366804742006-04-22T22:26:00.000+01:002006-04-22T22:26:00.000+01:00The above posting is by Nick.Winkler is clearly ig...The above posting is by Nick.

Winkler is clearly ignoramus extraordinaire, even by denier standards.Sergey Romanovhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04063444062099331337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24597325.post-1145736796237580692006-04-22T21:13:00.000+01:002006-04-22T21:13:00.000+01:00Sergey,Good work.Deniers are nuts.
