Lacking sufficient concrete evidence to show the Holocaust did not happen and to build their own narrative, Holocaust deniers are forced to resort to their personal incredulity as a main line of attack: the Germans wouldn't have done it this way, therefore it didn't happen. It's always fascinating to see with what incredible certainty Holocaust denier think to contradict historical facts established by multiple, corroborating sources by just presenting their poorly substantiated incredulity. A prime example is the claim that the Germans would have used the exhaust of producer gas generators instead of engine exhaust for homicidal gassing.

One of the main arguments by the Revisionist Santiago Alvarez against German homicidal gas vans is that most of the vehicles (namely those with Saurer chassis) were supposed to have had Diesel engines combined with the claim that Diesel engine exhaust - as opposed to gasoline engine exhaust - is not suitable for killing.

This posting presents evidence that the homicidal gas vans based on Saurer chassis were fabricated with gasoline engines in German occupied France. In fact, all brands identified as possible gas vans by the most reliable sources were either most likely or at least possibly using gasoline engines. Furthermore, the available testimonial evidence strongly supports gasoline engines over Diesel. Therefore, the "Diesel issue" is indeed irrelevant as far as the reality of homicidal gas vans is concerned.

Berg Bites Cop

In a story published by The Record (New Jersey) on February 17, 1999, it was revealed that
Friedrich Berg, 55, of Linwood Avenue, Fort Lee, the same address Berg stated here, had bitten Sergeant Thomas Dalton during an altercation in which Berg apparently became abusive after being told to put his dog on a leash. Berg "was charged with disorderly conduct, violating the borough's leash ordinance, resisting arrest, and aggravated assault on a police officer." Dalton stated that "I reached over to grab him, and he leaned over and bit my right hand near the web, near the thumb." Why is this story significant? The Far Right frequently portrays African-Americans as instigators of violent crime, such as on numerous RODOH threads. Then there's the irony of Berg biting a man called Thomas Dalton, the same name as the pseudonymous author of this text. Berg's past indiscretion therefore highlights the ironies, double standards and farces that surround HD and White Nationalism in the USA.

John Ball's Air Photo Evidence on Auschwitz

A new edition of John Ball's Air Photo Evidence (hereafter APE3) is out and has been published as Holocaust Handbooks volume 27 by Germar Rudolf. The book is a "corrected and expanded edition with contributions by Germar Rudolf and Carlo Mattogno". Jett Rucker was "carefully proofing this edition" and Carlo Mattogno provided a "critical and constructive peer review" (APE3, p. 7).

Actually, most of Ball's flaws were not or not properly corrected, instead Rudolf added some of his own. Previous critiques of Ball's work are ignored and fresh photographic evidence from British archives rebutting Ball's major claim of retouching of the photographs from the U.S. National Archives are not considered either in this context. The expansions e.g. on the "holes" and the Bunker 2 extermination site mainly consist of illustrations and photos recycled from previous Holocaust Handbooks. In other words, Air Photo Evidence clearly meets the Holocaust Handbooks publication standard.

But if one does not mind the text in between, the pdf is a nice collection of aerial photographs of Auschwitz free of charge. Plus, there are a number of hitherto unknown documents on the erection of the "camouflage" fences at the crematoria from Mattogno actually supporting the mass extermination activities at these sites.

"Dalton" (again) shows what makes him tick

"White Nationalism", from that I have seen of it, is the domain of somewhat-less-than-recommendable individuals like Greg Gerdes – losers who seek to console themselves by taking pride in their "White" ethnic background and attacking all perceived threats to supposed "White" interests. The largest such threat is obviously held to emanate from Jews, who for some reason are not considered to be "White". Hence "White Nationalists" tend to be rabid, paranoid anti-Semites.

... "Revisionist" guru Friedrich Paul Berg (a writer of "serious, dedicated works", according to "Thomas Dalton, Ph.D.") is at his best in the thread cremations - especially in his post 298 (answered in my post 12735), where he produced the following jewel:

Stomping on Muehlenkamp's head is actually a lot of fun. It's sort of like kicking some dirty, old, lying Jew down a flight of stairs and cheering as he bounces on the way down with an audience of cheering onlookers.

Bravo, Fritz! Keep on showing the lurkers what "Revisionism" is all about.

A good review of "Debating the Holocaust"

I think the latest one-star review of "Debating the Holocaust", transcribed below, deserves a hat's tip.

Dalton's Antisemitism

Dalton's misrepresentation of Goebbels' diaries has been discussed by Roberto here. I would like to highlight a revealing expression of Dalton's antisemitism that appears towards the end of this article. Dalton quotes this late remark by Goebbels:

Typically, having committed the most terrible crimes against mankind, the Jews would now like mankind to be forbidden even to think about them.

Dalton not only passes over the meaning of this Goebbels statement in relation to extermination (how would the Nazis have dealt with a people who they believed had "committed the most terrible crimes against mankind" except to kill them?), but he then comments that "Indeed, we are still forbidden to think of such things, even 65 years later." Dalton would like his readers to know that such thoughts are reasonable, in his opinion, whilst at the same time being blind to the historical relationship between such Nazi thoughts and their resultant actions. Of course, no government can, or should be allowed to, stop Dalton having stupid, hateful, antisemitic thoughts, but Dalton cannot be expected to be taken seriously when those thoughts cause him to lie about Goebbels and his diaries.

Meanwhile, it seems that this writer ...

... figures prominently in the obsessions and nightmares of another prominent "Revisionist".

Mattogno freaks out

In his latest article published on the blog spot hosted by one of his admirers, Aryan blonde Franziska (also known as "hcn", the lady who proclaims that, unlike the Jew Primo Levi, she is fond of blue eyes and blond hair), Carlo Mattogno goes rambling over more than 46 pages (MS Word, letter type Times New Roman, letter size 10) against a number of insolents who dared to criticize the coryphée of "Revisionism".

Last Monday RODOH moderator nexgen586 opened a thread called Here be holonails...or not., in which he presented a link to the article Evidence for the Presence of "Gassed" Jews in the Occupied Eastern Territories, Part 1 by Thomas Kues, which appeared in the "Revisionist" journal Inconvenient History.

The accompanying comment of nexgen586 ("I have either been given a link to an exciting cache of newly manufactured holonails for you Manitou or a rather large loose screw. Anyway there may be something worth discussing for you all.") made me curious about whether Thomas Kues had indeed, as this comment suggested he might have, produced something a cut above run-of-the-mill "Revisionist" propaganda. Thus I had a closer look at Kues' article and presented my comments about that article on the aforementioned RODOH thread (posts 12308, 12309, 12310, 12311 and 12312).

Goebbels on 27 March 1942 – "Dalton" keeps on trying

In my blogs Goebbels on liquidation and Thomas Dalton responds to Roberto Muehlenkamp and Andrew Mathis (3), I demonstrated that the term "liquidated" in Goebbels’ diary entry of 27 March 1942 can have referred to nothing other than physical killing of the greater part the Jews from the General Government, who Goebbels thought would have to be liquidated whereas only a smaller part could be used for forced labor.

On to item (9) of Mr. "Dalton"’s response, first paragraph:

(9) Finally, an important point that did not come up is the alleged gassing and body disposal at the 3 Reinhardt camps (Belzec, Sobibor, Treblinka). This is a huge problem for traditionalism, and Ricardo, in particular, has gone to outrageous lengths to construct explanations. For example, he says that the carbon monoxide source was gasoline engines, not diesels (to get around the troubling fact that all experts today mention diesels, despite the fact that they produce far too little carbon monoxide gas!). But this fails because (a) the leading witness for gasoline, Reder, explicitly stated that the exhaust gas was “evacuated…directly into the open air, not the gas chamber”!, (b) the Nazis would certainly have tried to use ‘producer gas’ systems, which are not engines at all, but rather small furnace units that produce high amounts of CO—but not a single witness mentions this, and (c) numerous witnesses describe the victims as ‘blue’, but CO poisoning results in a distinctive red or pink coloration, not blue; it could not have been missed.

In his response to Andrew Mathis and me following our radio conversation with Kevin Barrett on American Freedom Radio, "Revisionist" author "Thomas Dalton" writes:

(3) On the Korherr report, it is true that I do not address it in my book Debating the Holocaust. This is because it is, in my estimation, an insignificant and inconclusive matter in the overall debate. The report was not secret, and nothing in it points to mass killing of Jews. It does, however, talk about mass evacuations, which were indeed occurring at that time (early 1943). And there are internal contradictions, in that the conclusions do not follow from the statistics, which suggests either significant error or ulterior motives of some kind. Finally, Korherr himself stated in 1977 that the “special treatment” cited in the report referred to “Jews who were to be resettled,” not killed.
